Trees

The trees around the block are growing, although just less than half of the 600 planted survived.

The tallest of all the trees - it's about 450mm high.

In and around the shed

I've organised things inside the shed somewhat. A shelf for over the kitchen bench is being painted (to the left, white, sitting on milk crates). Click on the pic for a better view (as you can do for all pics).

Paving completed - goes half way down the front of the shed now as well.

A shelter to secure the water pump completed. A soil has been put in the 'garden beds'.

View of the shed and tank from towards the back of the block. Phil and Janet's shed in the background.

View in the other direction of the earthmoving equipment working way down the back.

New Shelf

Built a new shelf for the timber on Friday evening.

Electrical and phone line trench

The trench now filled in. It was open since May 2005, and filled with water pretty soon afterwards.

New wider driveway

Took some work on the tractor, but a reasonable result.

Limestone delivered

44 cubic metres of 75mm limestone to widen the driveway near the shed.

Paving

Sand delivered on Friday; pavers from Alan and Katrise were put down on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Phil in his tractor

After moving some of the sand, Phil started to fill in the trench holding the electrical cable that has been open since May before the rain.

Sunset

Inside the shed

The workbench is in place, and the bird is keeping his eye (he has only one) on the place.
